A stunning location overlooking the Indian Ocean

I love Brenton on Sea next to Knysna on the Cape’s Harden Route. I last visited in 1978 so very excited to return in 2022. I searched on line for a number of locations but was drawn to the Brenton-on-Sea Beach House both for its location and ambience. We weren’t disappointed. On our arrival we were shown into our magnificent en-suite bedroom which faced the garden and had a north easterly aspect. Our bedroom overlooked the stunning garden and swimming pool with a lovely veranda through double French Windows. Very tastefully furnished and decorated in pale shades of grey, white and lilac. Parking provided in front of the premises and free wifi.

THE place to be !!!

Very lovely room (had the seaview honeymoon suite on my own), quiet, safe, very valuable Tips from Derrick, the owner (where to go, where to eat...). Wonderful stay. Only too short(Just 2 days). I will come back! Definitely!

Brenton stay

Brenton beach house was neat and tidy. Derrick was awesome, hospitality was a 10. Will definitely go again to stay. What a great way to have started our honeymoon. Perfectly set away from the main roads, quiet and nesteled away in the trees seeing beautiful birds nesting in the trees. Nature at its best.

Marvellous experience

Thank you for your hospitality. Brenton on sea is a beautiful town with friendly people, especially the host of the guesthouse, Derrick. Lovely guesthouse, clean & tidy with a great sea view. We hope to visit again.
